Rome was my first trip to Europe, it met and exceeded all my expectations. One would think that this post would be about the beautiful churches, the delicious food and wine or even the beautiful people on every corner that had me convinced that I should change my name to Bella:) This post is actually about the one time that I decided to listen to the countless legends and to stop being so skeptical. On my tour of the city, I stopped at the Trevi Fountain, I think this was the tour guide’s favourite place because of the amount of detail he went into. I took my two coins in my right hand and threw them over my left shoulder, after all, the legend was very specific. According to the legend, after making my two wishes, one coin would ensure that I return to Rome and I will let you find out what the second one was for. Maybe we will see Rome, I’m still holding out on that. I did throw my two coins after all:)
